At Moolanda, we know that healthy eating is essential for growing minds and bodies. That’s why our meals are designed by dietitians to be balanced, nourishing, and full of variety—giving children the energy they need to learn, play, and thrive.
We make mealtimes a positive, social experience where children can try new flavours, share food together, and build lifelong healthy habits. With the support of our Food & Nutrition Ambassadors, families can feel confident that every meal served at Moolanda is both delicious and nutritious.
Healthy, Thoughtfully Planned Meals
Healthy eating starts early, and at Moolanda we believe mealtimes are just as important for learning as play and discovery. Our menus are developed collaboratively with families, children, and our education team, and are informed by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Australian Dietary Guidelines.
Meals are freshly prepared on site, using seasonal ingredients that support variety, balance, and enjoyment. Children are encouraged to share their ideas and preferences, helping shape menus that are both nutritious and culturally responsive, while educators model positive food experiences and healthy eating habits.
From nourishing lunches to wholesome snacks, our food program supports children’s growth and wellbeing, while fostering curiosity, independence, and a positive relationship with food.
