At Moolanda, we believe a child’s health and wellbeing are the foundation for lifelong learning and happiness. That’s why we offer a holistic approach that supports physical development, social and emotional growth, and overall wellbeing.
Through specialist programs and support services, we give every child the tools and confidence to thrive—at Moolanda, at home, and as they take their next steps into school.
Active Bodies, Confident Minds
Movement is at the heart of healthy development. At Moolanda, children enjoy daily opportunities to run, climb, stretch, and play in ways that build strength, balance, and coordination. These experiences not only support physical skills but also foster resilience, confidence, and a lifelong love of being active.
To further enrich our physical development program, we are proud to offer Happy Feet Fitness, delivered by an independent provider twice a week. Through engaging dance and music-based sessions, children are encouraged to move, express themselves, and develop fundamental motor skills in a fun and inclusive environment. Participation in Happy Feet is optional, and families who choose to enrol their child can liaise directly with the Happy Feet practitioner,Miss Jacqui.
Growing Independence
Learning everyday skills is just as important as play. Through hands-on activities, we encourage children to dress themselves, use tools, manage routines, and problem-solve. These small steps towards independence build self-esteem and prepare them for the transition to school.
Communication and Connection
Language is more than words—it’s how children express themselves, connect with others, and explore new ideas. Our Educators support communication through conversation, storytelling, music, and group play. Where extra support is needed, we guide families toward trusted professionals.
Wholesome Meals & Healthy Habits
We make mealtimes a joyful part of the day. Our dietitian-guided menus feature fresh, seasonal ingredients, prepared daily on-site. Children are encouraged to explore new flavours, share meals with friends, and develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
